The establishment of a world heritage file for Yen Tu has raised the people's awareness of the value of heritages, contributing to preserving and promoting the heritage, building a culture imbued with national identity. By the end of September 2020, the People's Committees of Quang Ninh, Hai Duong and Bac Giang provinces coordinated to organize a conference to unify a number of contents to develop the profile of Yen Tu relic population to submit to UNESCO for recognition as a World Heritage Site.
Previously, the Quang Ninh Department of Culture and Information was assigned to take the lead in actively working with the Department of Cultural Heritage (the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism), the Department of Cultural Affairs and UNESCO (the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. National Council of Cultural Heritage, Archaeological Society, Xuan Truong Construction Company, Tung Lam Development Joint Stock Company and some related research institutes to consult the steps of the process. , experience in profiling and selecting national and international consultants.

At the end of October 2020, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a meeting to direct the development of scientific records and management plans for Yen Tu monuments and landscapes with the scope of 3 provinces (Quang Ninh , Hai Duong, Bac Giang) submitted to UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism unanimously agreed that the name in the scientific record is Yen Tu Monuments and Landmarks (Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, Bac Giang) as World Heritage Sites.
At the same time, the Steering Committee and the Working Group to build the scientific record of Yen Tu monuments and landscapes (Quang Ninh, Bac Giang and Hai Duong) urgently complete related work.
