Located in the middle of Yen Tu sacred young tree, Xich Tung street with 700 year old conifer trees is the oldest crop in Vietnam. Duong Tung has many values, both a legacy, and contributes to the creation of sacred cultural and spiritual values in the place considered the cradle of Vietnamese Buddhism.

To reach Xich Tung street in the Yen Tu relic and scenic complex (Uong Bi city), visitors pass through Lo Ren am about 200m. Xich Tung Road is more than 100m long, located on the main road of pilgrimage to the Buddha realm. Currently, there are 230 living leashes, having a lifespan of over 700 years, being cared for and strictly protected by the Yen Tu National Forest and Monuments Management Board. Ancient cedar chains have a base diameter of 0.3-1.1m; 4,9-24m in height. Xich Tung Yen Tu is considered as the oldest crop row in Vietnam.

Legend has it that, in the past, Dieu Ngu Giac Hoang Tran Nhan Tong together with his disciples and other generations of Zen practitioners of Truc Lam sect planted red litchi trees here and in many places on Yen Tu mountain. The leash in Yen Tu symbolizes the intense vitality, bold and righteous temperament of the gentleman.

Xich Tung Street is a precious heritage, both a historical evidence and a cultural symbol; show love for life, respect and harmony with nature - a core value of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen. Walking between two ancient rows of chains, visitors can enjoy the fresh and cool atmosphere, remembering the memory of King Tran Nhan Tong before becoming a Buddha, which has left a precious and rare chain in the next generation.

In particular, on September 25, 2017, the Prime Minister issued a decision approving the investment policy of the project "Care and conservation of ancient larch trees in Yen Tu National Forest". Up to now, over 3 years of implementation, the leash has been researched and successfully propagated by Mr. Pham Van Su, former officer of Yen Tu National Forest and Monuments Management Board. There are currently 50 propagated larch chains planted by the Yen Tu National Forest and Monuments Management Board at the previous broken ancient leash sites along the ancient Xich Tung road and many other locations on Yen Tu.
